We can fabricate any box or cube to display your paintings or artifacts. Here’s a short list of some of the things we have framed in acrylic:

Acrylic can be worked just like wood. We can saw it, drill it, sand it, polish it, even bend it to form a cradle to hold your art.

Your acrylic frames are made on the premises. Most framers can’t offer this service because of space limitation, know-how, or lack of skilled personnel.

They have to “farm out” that part of their business. In fact, we make acrylic frames for many other framers. We use the finest machinery to create your acrylic frames.

Acrylic frames and cubes are hand-polished on a Baldor buffing machine.

There is a method known as “flame torching” to make the edges of the frame shiny. However, this is a cheap, cop-out way to finish an acrylic frame. It’s quick, and leaves behind the “saw marks” from where the acrylic was cut.

Rather than use this inferior method, we sand the edges of our acrylic frames or cubes with very fine sandpaper, then machine hand-polish the material to beautiful perfection.

Acrylic is a beautiful medium to display certain types of art.

    Clear Cube Over Bevelled Base

 

This cube is very easy to to keep clean and is shown over a 1/2" bevelled base.

The base has a raised lip which holds the cube in place at all times. Easily lift the cube to view or handle the object.

All edges and corners of the cube are hand fabricated and polished. The base has small cabachon acrylic feet to raise it 1/8" off the table surface to prevent scratching

The car is held in place with small acrylic fittings underneath and can be easily removed.

These cubes make excellent dust covers and make even common objects look more important.

To measure your art for a cube, usually allow 2" around including from the top for the height. You can call us, too.  We'd love to discuss your ideas and make them happen for you.
